The history<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201cBilst\u00f8in Bil\u201d was established in 1952. It was Hans Mellemgaard, Eiler Thorsvig, Hans A. Davidsen, Poul Gaard Hansen and Pauli Gaard Hansen who started \u201cBilst\u00f8in Bil\u201d back in 1952.<\/p>

Initially, the station was located in Niels Finsensg\u00f8tu, but was moved to Li\u00f0ag\u00f8tu in 1960. Two years later, \u201cBilst\u00f8inin V\u00e1gsbotni\u201d was merged with \u201cBil\u201d.<\/p>

When the \u201cOyggjarvegurin\u201d was made and went north towards \u201cH\u00f3risg\u00f8tu\u201d, \u201cBilst\u00f8in Bil\u201d had a regular drive of passes between Hvalv\u00edk and Sundabr\u00fanna.<\/p>

In June 1963, when air traffic started, the Bil had regular services to and from the airport.<\/p>

At the time it was that passengers ordered space with one of our cars in the evening or early in the morning before they were collected at home, and the trip then went to Vestmanna (before the tunnel came), where there was a ferry connection to Oyragj\u00f3gv. From there, a bus or car was taken to the airport and the villages of V\u00e1goy.<\/p>

For some years we also had a taxi station in Vestmanna.<\/p>

At the end of 1978, Bil moved in its own room just opposite the current Effo gas station \u2013 Gundadalur.<\/p>

When \u201cBygdalei\u00f0ir\u201d (the official busses) was created, in May 1980, the buses were driven for the first years out of Bilst\u00f8\u00f0ini Bil. Similarly, we had the operation of the first city buses in T\u00f3rshavnar Municipality.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

At the same time \u201cBilst\u00f8\u00f0in Bil\u201d was merged with the \u201cMini Taxi\u201d. In October 1996, the combined Bil and Mini Taxi moved from the Gundadali Building to the Farst\u00f8i\u00f0in. The new name for the combined companies was and is now \u201cBil & Mini Taxi 96\u201d. \u201cThe times are changed and so do we\u201d, is the wording of a Faroese song. This is also the case with the Bilst\u00f8\u00f0in Bil. We have a new phone number, which is +298 32 32 32, which is usually shown with 3 x 32. However, it is possible to call our old number for a period.<\/p>

In September 2016, Bil Mini Taxi as the first taxi station in Faroe Islands<\/span><\/a>\u00a0received an App\u00a0, where it is possible to book a taxi easily and seamlessly just by pressing a button on the phone.<\/span><\/p>

Bil Mini Taxi has 35 cars, of which 6 are for 6 travelers, 1 for 7 travelers and 1 for 8 travelers.<\/p>
