Viðareiði on Viðoy is the Faroe Islands’ northernmost settlement. The village is considered amont the most beautiful in the Faroe Islands. Situated in a 1.5 km wide village slope with high mountains in the north and south, overlooking the neighbouring islands to the east, Fugloy and Svínoy, to the west Borðoy. Kunoy and Kalsoy.
On the way to Viðareiði we pass the second largest city in the Faroe Islands, Klaksvík, wich is a natural pearl of a beauty.
In Klaksvík is the magnificent church, Kristianskirkjan, wich is a mus see on the way to Viðareiði.
