Description

Our first stop will be at Norðradalsskarð, where you’ll have the chance to admire the stunning view of Koltur Island. From there, we’ll visit the last remaining whaling station in Áir and immerse ourselves in the picturesque village of Saksun, complete with waterfalls, an old church, and a historic farmhouse.

We’ll then continue to the magnificent 140 meter-high Fossá waterfall, before exploring the Viking settlement village of Tjørnuvík, where you can witness the towering stone monuments of The Giant and The Hag.

Our journey will then take us over the only bridge across the Atlantic Ocean to Eysturoy, where we’ll visit the mountain village of Gjógv and its breathtaking gorge.

We’ll journey through the villages of Funningur, Skálabotnur, Søldafjørdur, Glyvrar and Runavík before reaching the world’s only roundabout subsea tunnel, leading us back to Tórshavn.

Experience the breathtaking views of the western islands as we drive up the old mountain road to Sornfelli. Then travel through a subsea tunnel to the island of Vágar. Our first stop will be at the unique and scenic village of Sandavágur. Afterwards, visit Miðvágur, where we will cross the largest inland lake, Leitisvatn. Estimated time: 3 hours.
